Amusement Products recently hosted the first of two FEC educational sessions for 2024 at their manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. Groups assembled from coast to coast to attend FEC Success Institute, the industry’s longest-running education program for family entertainment centers. While 60% of attendees are in the beginning stages of their FEC, the remaining 40% represent existing entertainment venues who attended the program to explore the latest trends and innovations in the industry as they consider upgrades, expansions, or additional locations. Two groups had attended previous sessions of the program.     

FEC Success Institute and its industry partners focus on subject matter that is vital to the successful operation of FECs. Industry experts presented topics including feasibility, attraction mix, construction, employee recruitment and retention, insurance, redemption, theming and more. The 2-day seminar also included a behind-the-scenes look at Amusement Products’ latest technology and hands-on testing of attractions at Sir Goony’s Family Fun Center located next door.

“I really appreciated that we received a huge amount of good data, but even more valuable was the wisdom and experience of industry professionals,” said attendee Chip Maner about the event. Another attendee enjoyed “… meeting with people who really know what they are talking about and taking the time to listen and give straight out advice.”
