Our goal is to help you get your attraction up and running as quickly as possible, so you can make more money. Broken attractions earn nothing!
As Amusement Products continually refines our products and control systems for easier maintenance and operation, customers often hire new staff to run their park each year. Many questions can be answered by reading our operations and maintenance manuals for each attraction, or by making a call to our technical support staff and dialing (5) when the automated attendant begins speaking. If you are transferred to the answering system, the tech line is in use. You can either leave a message or you can dial (*) then (0) and the operator can put you through to another tech support assistant. However, sometimes your staff needs more thorough training than they can get during a 10-minute phone call. In the past, we have offered two options for this training:
- Have a technician travel to your site to fix the issue and train your staff (call for pricing)
- Have your staff come to Amusement Products for individual training on their attractions (call for pricing)
While these options fit many of our operators’ needs, we realized we could help reduce their costs and widen the type of attraction training we can offer by bringing multiple facilities to Amusement Products for a two-day maintenance and operations training seminar for customers and their staff. Customers may choose to attend only the attraction training they have or stay for the full two days. Customers who have multiple Amusement Products attractions will find it beneficial to stay for all the seminars over the two days. We encourage our FEC owners to send both maintenance and operations personnel, and to even attend themselves. As an operator for over 40 years, I have found that knowing what is supposed to happen is as important as knowing how to do the maintenance yourself. If you don’t know the correct way to solve an issue, you won’t know if what you are being told by your staff is correct or a potential waste of time. If an attraction isn’t operating it isn’t making money!
