The new OCTANE gives operators a practical commercial-grade option for facilities that continue to prefer traditional gas-powered racing. Designed with a racing-style chassis and body, operator-friendly features, and the durability required for daily commercial use, OCTANE expands the Amusement Products go-kart lineup with another choice for today’s track operators.
Built for
Commercial Operation
OCTANE was developed around the needs of commercial track operators. Its durable frame, adjustable driver controls, electric starting system, and proven Honda engine options provide a straightforward gas-powered platform designed for dependable daily operation.
Whether you are developing a new outdoor track, replacing an existing gas fleet, or simply prefer the familiarity of combustion-powered karts, OCTANE provides a practical solution backed by Amusement Products’ decades of go-kart experience.
Operator-Friendly Features
Adjustable Driver Position
Two driver-accessible controls allow racers to adjust the steering wheel position and pedal distance for a more comfortable fit. The seat also slides forward up to 5 inches, helping the kart accommodate a wider range of drivers.
Electric Start
OCTANE features a driver-controlled electric starting system—eliminating starter ropes and simplifying daily operation.
Extra-Capacity Fuel Tank
An extra-capacity fuel tank helps reduce interruptions and keeps karts on the track longer between refueling.
Commercial-Grade Construction
A welded alloy-steel frame, hydraulic disc braking system, extended-wear pneumatic tires, and impact-resistant plastic body are designed to withstand the demands of commercial go-kart operation.
Engine Options
OCTANE is available with two Honda four-stroke engine options:
Honda GX200: 6 hp commercial engine
Honda GX270: 9 hp commercial engine
Both provide operators with the reliability and familiarity associated with Honda commercial
